Metal expansion principle design sensor
The metal will produce a corresponding extension after the change of the ambient temperature, so the sensor can convert the signal in different ways.
Bimetal Sensor
Bimetal sheet is made up of two pieces of metal with different coefficient of expansion, and with the change of temperature, the material A is higher than the other one. The curvature of the bend can be converted into an output signal.
Bimetal rod and metal tube sensor
With the increase of temperature, the metal tube (material A) increased in length, without expansion steel (metal B) length does not increase, so due to the change of the position of the metal tube, linear expansion can transfer. This linear expansion, in turn, can be converted into an output signal.
Sensor for the design of liquid and gas deformation curves
When the temperature changes, the liquid and the gas will also have a corresponding change in volume.
The structure of various types can change this expansion into position changes, such changes in output position (potentiometer, inductive bias, baffle and so on).
