The process and daily maintenance of instrument and meter valve

Instrument valves regularly discharge two main work, one of the sewage, and the other is a regular purge. This work should be adapted to local conditions, not all process instrumentation valves are required for periodic blowdown.

1 sewage

The sewage is mainly for the differential pressure transmitter, pressure transmitter, float level gauge and other instruments, as measured medium containing dust, grease, and other small particles in the deposition of lead pressure (or pressure valve to take the deposition), directly or indirectly affect the measurement. Discharge cycle can be determined by the instrument according to practice.

Regular sewage should be noted as follows:

Before discharge, must contact with the craft personnel, obtains the craft personnel approval to be able to carry on;

Flow or pressure regulating system before the sewage, should be automatically switched to manual, to ensure that the valve opening is not the same;

For differential pressure transmitter, before the first three sets of positive and negative pressure relief valve off;

The container valve, slowly open the positive and negative pressure guiding pipe drain valve, so that the material and dirt into the container to prevent the material directly into the trench, otherwise, will pollute the environment, and waste;

The instrument due to poor quality of the valve, discharge valve several times after the instrument will appear off dead condolences, emergency measures are blind, ensure the drain valve is not leaking, so as not to affect the accuracy of measurement.
